From tonight at dinner:
Mom- “What are you looking forward to the most about Kindergarten?”
Jack- “Learning to read. Dad said I can read the Harry Potter books when I turn seven, so I need to get started.”
Mom- “What are you worried about or unsure of about starting kindergarten?”
Jack- “All the new faces. People that I don’t know yet.”
Jack- “Did you know that I have had a bad day? I got stung by a wasp this morning, hit in the nose at Karate and didn’t get the Lego Star Wars swimming trunks that I really wanted at Target.”
Mom- “It sounds like you are having a Horrible, Terrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (like the book)”
Jack- “Some days are just like that….”
Mom & Dad- “Even in Australia!”
